Scholarship Winner - 2006

Josh King

Josh has been chosen as this year's recipient of the Manchester Alumni Association Scholarship. He will receive $2,000 toward his college education at The University of Oklahoma, where he plans to study Meteorology. The senior ranked third in his class with a 4.12 GPA, and was captain of both the Panther track and cross-country teams. Josh was treasurer of the National Honor Society, a member of the Key Club, and past reporter for the school's Panther Press. His other extracurriculars have included playing MHS basketball and football, and, for the last two years, teaching a Sunday School class for 3-year-olds. Josh is the son of Steve (MHS '74) and Colleen King. Congratulations to this very worthy graduate!
